A note from the Friedman family:
We walk for Cece. Cece was born with a congenital heart defect called Tetralogy of Fallot. She survived 2 open heart surgeries in her first 8 months of life. Like so many families, we've had to learn quickly what it means to navigate the unknown. Through it all, Boston Children's Hospital has been a place of expertise, compassion, and hope- where families like ours turn when answers are hard to find. That's why we're walking in the Eversource Walk for Boston Children's Hospital on June 14, 2026, raising money for the Cardiac Urgent Needs Fund. This fund helps ensure that children get the care they need when they need it most - and supports families facing the unimaginable.
